LOUD Continues to Bolster Creative Ranks

Following a recent restructure and the appointment of Steven Thomson as executive creative director/partner, Communications agency LOUD has announced further additions to the creative ranks.

Christian Kernot has joined the agency as associate creative director and Kiah Barker has been appointed art director.

Kernot joins LOUD from Y&R Group’s specialist agency Blaze Advertising where he was senior copywriter.  Over the past thirteen years Christian has worked at a variety of agencies including M&C Saatchi and Ideaworks.

Steven Thomson says of Kernot, “It’s great to have a talent such as Christian on board. As well as being a writer’s writer, he’s also one of the funniest people I know.”

AWARD School and UTS visual communications graduate Kiah Barker joins LOUD full-time following a highly productive three-month internship with the agency.

“Kiah has been kicking goals at LOUD since day one and continues to inspire us with her creativity and enthusiasm. She’s definitely one to watch,” adds Thomson.

The latest hires follow the recent appointments of Thomson and Ex-Ogilvy planning director Gerry Cyron as both department heads and partners, joining existing CEO Lorraine Jokovic, and the announcement of Paul Bennell as creative director.
