Radio Ratings: Kyle & Jackie O Return To The Top, But No One’s Touching Alan

KIIS FM’s Kyle & Jackie O have returned to the top of Sydney FM breakfast radio after the duo turned the tables on their ARN stablemates WSFM’s Brendan ‘Jonesy’ Jones and Amanda Keller in the GfK radio ratings out this morning.

Kyle and Jackie O were up 0.9 per cent to a 10.2 per cent share, while Jonsey and Amanda fell one per cent to take a 9.3 per cent share.

Once again in Sydney, it was all Alan Jones and 2GB. Jones extending his lead in breakfast, up 2.1 points this survey to a 19 per cent share.

Meanwhile in Melbourne, Nova Entertainment’s Smooth FM edged closer to toppling Fox FM’s drive ratings crown, growing  0.4 points to a 9.8 per cent audience share.

Over in Brisbane, it was a battle between Nova and Triple M. In a reversal of fortunes, Nova enjoyed gains across the board while it was all falls for Triple M.

In Adelaide, Mix102.3 ruled the breakfast slot, although its 13.2 per cent audience share did suffer a 0.8 per cent hit since the last survey results. However, it has the ABC nipping at its heels – the public broadcaster up 0.9 per cent to 12.8 per cent audience share.

Over in the west, Nova remains the pick of the Perth breakfast shows with 14.6 per cent share, although it was down 0.4 per cent. Yet its reign may soon be over, with the fast improving Mix 94.5 up an impressive 1.3 per cent to 13.9 per cent.
