Havas Melbourne Appointed To Handle World Vision Australia’s Media Account

Humanitarian aid organisation World Vision Australia has announced it has appointed Havas Melbourne as its media agency of record, following a competitive pitch involving four Melbourne agencies.

The intensive pitch process was initiated by World Vision, who wanted identify a partner to help them drive an organisational-wide digital transformation.

World Vision chief marketing officer Teresa Sperti said she was excited to appoint the Havas team.

“Havas stood out from the other agencies with their straight-talking approach, their passion for our cause and the creativity of their thinking,” she said.

“It was an intensive evaluation process, but they demonstrated a clear understanding of our needs, and have the right mix of skills to help us evolve our media strategy and spend our media investments wisely.”

Havas Melbourne group managing director Matt Houltham said: “It is a rare opportunity to work with a brand that makes such a difference to people’s lives, so we are thrilled to be joining Teresa and her team to help them strengthen their media approach.”
