Pay TV player Foxtel has launched a beta version of its dedicated sports streaming service, Kayo Sports.

According to Kayo’s website, subscribers can stream over 50 sports live and on demand.

The streaming service has two subscription options: a basic package for $25 per month across two screens, or a premium package for $35 per month across three screens. Both options offer a 14-day free trail and no lock-in contract.

All content streamed via Kayo is available in HD stream, provided users have the bandwidth. Additionally, Foxtel’s new sports streaming service offers a ‘SplitView’ feature that lets users watch up to four videos at once, all on the one screen on selected devices.

Kayo also has a built-in ‘No Spoilers’ setting, which locks off scores and results until users are ready to hit play, while its ‘Key Moments’ feature lets users jump to the action they want to see in selected matches.

The name of Foxtel’s new streaming service isn’t exactly a surprise, as the company lodged a trademark application for it back in August.

Foxtel declined to share any further details on Kayo Sports when contacted by B&T.
