Arthur Sadoun Goes ‘Old-Age Pensioner’ For Odd Publicis Christmas Message

The global boss of Publicis Groupe, Arthur Sadoun, has delivered his annual Christmas address to staff complete with the 46-year old transformed into an old-age pensioner.

The oddball address sees Sadoun wishing all his 60,000-plus global employees festive cheer, all with Sadoun sporting greying hair and wrinkled skin. The work of a clever make-up artist.

You can check out the address via the Publicis’ website here. And here’s how Sadoun typically looks…

Sadoun never makes mention of his new appearance throughout the video, but is then joined by his predecessor, former agency boss, Maurice Lévy, who is looking decidedly young and trim and with a full head of brown hair.

“As you can see, 2017 has been a long and impactful year. But, more importantly, it has been a year of transformation for us in an industry that is being totally disrupted,” Sadoun tells his audience.

“I know that change is not always easy, and we have changed a lot this year, so I would like to truly and sincerely thank you all for your tremendous efforts. They are making, and will continue to make, a huge difference to our future,” he says.

Lévy then enters the video carrying an “I’m the boss” coffee mug that Sadoun then snares as his own.

“Well, Arthur, I think you should get some rest too,” Lévy says. “And you are right, change is never easy, but it can be rejuvenating too. Personally, I’m starting to feel the positive effect of everything you have accomplished—all in such a short period of time. Merci.”
