Creative agency The Works and new owner RXP today announced the launch of Daresay, a new content and production agency driven by a multi-skilled team of strategists, producers and editors.

Daresay will offer strategic planning, creative production, including video and post-production, design, animation, editorial, amplification and analytics.

Following the closure of iSentia’s Strategy and Content division at the end of last year, RXP and The Works reached an agreement to continue working with a number of its existing clients, in addition to hiring four of its senior team including general manager Ruth Haffenden, senior content strategist Yanni Kyriacos and two senior editors.

Ross Fielding, CEO of RXP (pictured second right) said: “Daresay has been launched in collaboration with The Works to meet a growing demand for integrated content production that has strategic insight at its core. RXP already works with tier one businesses on building their online and digital capabilities and we see a number of opportunities for Daresay to play a significant role with that, in addition to working with other partners on enhancing their content marketing.”

Daresay’s team will be led by Haffenden who becomes head of strategy and content and Rachael Solomon, head of broadcast and content. Clients working with the agency include Optus, Intuit, Rentokil, Masterpet, Brother, Primo Small Goods and Snap Printing.

Haffenden (seated right) said: “Strategically led content, created efficiently which delivers results for clients are the driving principals behind the creation of Daresay. With a highly experienced team of content creators, in-house production capabilities and the backing of RXP and The Works, we have built a formidable proposition that I’m excited to be part of.”

Solomon (seated left) added: “In the constantly evolving world of content creation, combing the expertise of Ruth and her team with our smart production approaches, data and strategic insights is a no brainer. The interest in a fully integrated content agency has been strong and we look forward to delivering effective campaigns for our clients.”

RXP is one of Australia’s biggest digital transformation consultancies working across offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, Hobart and Hong Kong. It acquired The Works in August last year and operates seven practice groups bringing together creativity, design, insights and technology to deliver services and solutions for tier one clients.
