M&C Saatchi’s The Source Launches Down Under

Seven years after setting up shop in London, The Source has its eyes set on success in the Asia-Pacific region with the announcement of a new office in Melbourne.

Managing director Matt Swinson (pictured above) has relocated from the UK office and brings 15 years of industry experience working across a portfolio of clients including BBC, Ebay and Tesco.

Employing customer immersion, pure ethnography and other bespoke solutions, The Source tailors approaches to try and uncover powerful customer truths for businesses.

Swinson said the business, which is independently run as part of M&C Saatchi Group, is grounded on being a full-service market research agency.

“Delivering a raw, high-resolution picture of the customer is our promise to our clients,” he said.

“Too often we see great work lost in a sea of uninspiring delivery. The Source aims to change that.

“We see the Asia-Pacific region – specifically, Australia – as a market with huge opportunity. We’ve hit the ground running, bringing insights to life helping them to live and breathe in our clients’ businesses.”

M&C Saatchi Group revealed plans to set up The Source in Australia in March when it announced its results for the 2016 calendar year.
