We’re all trying to lead better, more environmentally aware lives, however, getting even the most ardent environmentalist to ditch air travel – one of the planet’s biggest contributors to carbon emissions – seems an almost impossible task.
That’s why Lumo, who operates an all-electric train service from London to Edinburgh, has just launched a new campaign to try and coax travellers off big polluting planes and onto its far greener mode of transport instead.
Called “Flight shame”, the spot’s the work of famed London agency Mother and stars a woman called Jen who goes to extreme and hilarious lengths to offset her carbon footprint after a recent flight.
From filling her house with plants, (hilariously) stopping bathing to trading her car for a small donkey, Jen’s efforts are admirable as they are doomed. Watch the fun unfold below:
