Wednesday TV Wrap: MasterChef & Hard Quiz Prove Winners, But Seven Takes Bragging Rights

Seven won Wednesday night without really having to try too hard.

News aside, the pick of the entertainment shows were 10’s MasterChef (984,000 metro viewers) and ABC’s Hard Quiz (708,000).

Seven nabbed the honours with 25.7 per cent of all of last night’s eyeballs (all channels). Lego-less Nine had to settle for second and 24.8 per cent. 10 nabbed third and 22.9 per cent, the ABC had a neat 18 and SBS did 8.7 per cent.

Seven’s 6pm news was the most-watched show of the night with 1.193 million viewers. Following that, The Chase did 665,000, Home And Away enjoyed 655,000 and Britain’s Got Talent got the network over the line with 530,000.

MasterChef aside, 10’s best was The Project (646,000) and 10 News First (450,000).

Nine did well with its 6pm news (1.106 million), ACA (754,000), Hot Seat (565,000), Doctor Doctor (488,000) and Paramedics (455,000).

Over at the ABC, its night ran thus: 7pm news (876,000), Hard Quiz (708,000), 7.30 (699,000) and The Weekly With Charlie Pickering (591,000).
