Wednesday TV Wrap: Hard Quiz Has An Easy Night

There were no big surprises in last night’s TV ratings, though dark horse Hard Quiz beat both ABC News and A Current Affair in a deviation from previous week’s ratings.

It had 740,000 viewers for the ABC.

MAFS‘s Wednesday night dinner party once more took top spot with 1,003,000 viewers, according to OzTAM’s metro data. Beck was still feuding with Bryce while Alana betrayed Jason’s trust in classically dramatic fashion, though somewhat disappointingly, no drinks were thrown.

Following on was Seven News with 947,000 viewers and Nine News with 918,000.

ABC News and A Current Affair had 710,000 and 693,000 respectively.

The rest of the ABC’s night had 7.30 and Fisk at 671,000 and 594,000 viewers, while The Weekly With Charlie Pickering followed with 575,000.

For Seven, Home And Away had 548,000 viewers while The Chase had 449,000. Highway Patrol Special had 300,000.

Over at Nine, Hot Seat had 421,000 and medical drama Amazing Grace had 382,000 viewers.

Finally, for 10, The Project was number one with 387,000 viewers. 10 News First had 325,000 and The Cube had 307,000.

Nine (all channels) won the daily share with 32 per cent, followed by Seven (all channels) with 23 per cent. The ABC Network was a decisive third place with a round 20 per cent of the share while Network 10 had 15 per cent. The SBS Network came in with eight per cent of the share.
