He’s nicknamed “The King” for his past efforts on the footy field, but Wally Lewis’ performance on Nine’s The Footy Show (NRL) made the rugby league great look more like a dunce.
Lewis was participating in the show’s new segment, ‘Joking Off’, where contestants are challenged with trying to make each other laugh by telling jokes.
Lewis’ challenger was Jillaroos star Allana Ferguson, who announced she was going to recite a phrase “with no teeth”.
“It always feels better that way,” Lewis responded quickly, leaving The Footy Show audience and co-host Erin Molan stunned.

Lewis’ crude comment also caused quite a stir on social media:

It seems like Wally Lewis might be into a bit of trouble tomorrow after his comment tonight on the footy show.

Haven’t watched the footy show in ages and don’t intend to but from what Wally Lewis said no wonder why the show has gone so far downhill
