Newly formed creative agency VMLY&R has hired BMF head of planning Alison Tilling, as it continues to finalise its structure.
A WPP spokesperson told B&T that Tilling’s title will be confirmed in 2019, along with the broader management structure of VMLY&R and other details of the newly combined agency, which are still being established as part of the merger process between VML and Y&R announced last month.
However, according to Tilling’s LinkedIn profile, she will be the agency’s chief strategy officer, and joined VMLY&R last month.
Tilling worked as BMF’s head of planning for the last three years, but has worked at the agency in a number of other roles since 2008. She also previously held roles at Whybin/TBWA Sydney, Wieden + Kennedy, TBWA London and Apple.
VMLY&R ANZ’s joint leaders, Aden Hepburn and Pete Bosilkovski, said they were excited to have someone with Tilling’s proven and established experience join the agency.
Earlier this month, VMLY&R announced the appointment of Paul Nagy as its chief creative officer.
