Val Morgan Digital (VMD) has hired four new team members with Alyce Thomas and Claudia Pearce joining as Agency Partnership Managers, Nicola Laing as Strategy & Content Manager and Jack Revell taking on the role of Branded Content & Weekend Editor of TheLatch—.
The expansion follows consistent month on month growth at TheLatch—, which reaches 400,000 monthly viewers after launching just six months ago.
“With consistent month on month growth, we’re carving out a solid space in market, with thought-provoking content that helps our audience dig deeper on issues like sustainability and mental health. We’ve learnt a lot from our readers over the past six months, with those learnings driving some exciting brand developments at the end of this year. As a freelance writer, Jack Revell (bottom left, pictured) has covered arts, culture, and politics for SBS Voices, VICE, Rolling Stone, Pedestrian.TV, Crikey and The Urban List. He also features on a weekly radio program for 3CR on drug policy and reform.
“I am very much looking forward to being part of TheLatch—, bringing to life its branded content offering, and helping readers learn more about issues like cannabis reform,” Revell said.
Alyce Thomas (top left, pictured) also has extensive online media experience, having worked in sales for Are Media (formerly Bauer Media) and as a digital account manager at The Urban List.
Joining VMD from Time Out, Claudia Pearce (top right, pictured) has worked across a variety of publications and brands, building partnerships with both top tier clients and media agencies.

Being creative, curious and innovative, I push the boundaries and step outside of the box to deliver the best solution for my clients,” Pearce said.
Rounding out the team is Nicola Laing (bottom right, pictured) who joins VMD following a strategy and response manager role at Pedestrian Group.
