The UnLtd Cup is returning for its tenth consecutive year, marking a decade of soccer shenanigans that’s raised nearly $500,000 for children’s mental health charity, KidsXpress.

On August 19-20th, 28 teams from across the industry will battle it out on the soccer field in the two-day tournament at Sydney University Sports and Fitness Centre, Darlington. All proceeds raised will go towards the charity dedicated to changing the lives of Aussie kids impacted by trauma.

To mark the special occasion, UnLtd invites the entire industry to come down to cheer on their teams in the finals on Friday, July 23rd, and stay for the ‘UnLtd Cup 10th Anniversary Party’. This special event, sponsored by Cartology, will bring together past winning teams, sponsors and supporters from across the industry and invites any past players to don their UnLtd Cup jerseys. What started as a handful of teams kicking-about one afternoon to raise a bit of money has grown into a legacy tournament that is an earmark on UnLtd’s busy annual events calendar. Over the history of the competition, the industry has raised nearly $500,000 for KidsXpress, a fundraising milestone sure to be hit this year.

Kerry McCabe, founder and former chairman of UnLtd said, “the UnLtd Cup is the epitome of what UnLtd. is all about. A committed group of people bringing the industry together to connect, have fun and make a meaningful and measurable difference in the lives of disadvantaged young Australians. It’s our oldest event and has led the way for many other people in the industry to create or manage one of UnLtd’s many events.”

Margo Ward, founder and CEO at KidsXpress said, “the UnLtd Cup is an event that was born out of friendship and a deep desire to make a tangible difference in this world for vulnerable children. Ten years on, the event continues to surpass the goals and dreams that were set in place over a cup of coffee all those years ago.

“It’s often been said that the success of anything stems from good planning and while this is certainly true, the ability to sustain success for this long lies in the strong connections, friendship and passions of all those involved. I’m indebted to everyone involved in making this event the huge success that it is today. The UnLtd Cup has changed the lives of many children over the last 10 years and we hope will continue to do so for many more years to come!”

The UnLtd Cup board would like to extend their thanks to every person who has been involved in the tournament over the past 10 years.

From players, sponsors, volunteers, managers and organisations that have empowered their people to give back to the community.

In particular, they’d like to thank Pat Darcy, Steve Geelan and Mark Serhan who have been a part of this event from the very start, for all their time, passion and drive and contribution to its success.

Teams involved in this year’s UnLtd Cup include: ACM, Amobee, ARN, Carat, Cartology, DoubleVerify, Facebook, Foxtel Media, Group M, IPG,  iProspect, JCDecaux, Kaimera, Kantar, Network Ten, Nine, Nova, OMD, oOh!
