A British TV presenter managed remarkable composure after a caller called him a “c*nt” live to air.
Presenter Jeremy Vine, who hosts his own eponymous current affairs chat show on Channel Five, was fielding viewer calls about the appropriateness of sending a Valentine Day’s text message.
A chap going by the moniker of “Tim from Lancashire” phoned in and the conversation began harmlessly enough.
“We’ve been married 28 years and never bought into Valentine’s Day cards,” Tim said before launching his withering take-down of the TV host.
Check out the unsavouriness below and, to Vine’s credit, his professional reply.
However, it seems Vine is a magnet for vile audience members wanting to use the C-word.
In September 2018, Vine was hosting another TV segment when another caller phoned him and called him a “big fat c*nt”. Again, he played the abuse to aplomb.
