TurfBreed Appoint Focus Creative As Their New Agency Partner

Focus Creative has been formally appointed as TurfBreed’s creative agency for 2019/20 financial year.

The appointment of Focus Creative forms part of TurfBreed’s plans to aggressively increase market share over the coming two years.

The appointment comes after a twelve-month strategic partnership between Focus Creative and TurfBreed that saw the launch of TurfBreed’s new website and overarching marketing strategy.

TurfBreed represents over half of all turf farms in Australia, in an industry with over 38 million square metres of turf in production annually, and a wholesale value of nearly $250M.

Focus Creative’s appointment will see them working with TurfBreed to launch a number of grass brands into the market and help TurfBreed increase overall brand awareness.

TurfBreed managing director, Steve Burt said: “We’re thrilled to be securing Focus Creative for the next two years.

“With lifestyles changing and the way people use their outdoor spaces changing, we saw the need to futureproof our business and stay ahead of the disruption curve.”

He added: “Focus Creative has been instrumental in helping us develop our overarching marketing approach and strategic direction.

“Appointing them was an easy decision – its the formalisation of a relationship that has been working so well for us over the last year.”

Focus Creative head of strategy, Gavin Youngman said: “Working with TurfBreed on this next chapter is an incredibly exciting opportunity.

“This is a sector that has huge potential to develop and we can’t wait to play our role in supporting agriculture in Australia.”
