Seven’s dating show Take Me Out still can’t find much love from TV audiences with last night’s second outing posting just 513,000 and a sizeable drop of 15 per cent from Monday’s debut.

The struggling show also meant Seven had to settle for second in last night’s viewer numbers. Nine won Tuesday with 30.8 per cent audience share, Seven managed 26.8 per cent, Ten reclaimed third spot with 18.3 per cent, the ABC got vanquished to fourth and 16.1 per cent, while SBS enjoyed a neat eight per cent.

As usual, The Block (1.03 million) did the business for Nine. Nine’s 6pm news bulletin pulled 888,000, ACA had 820,000 and True Story With Hamish And Andy rebounded with 744,000.

For Seven, its night ran thus: 6pm news (982,000), Home And Away (614,000), The Chase (525,000), 800 Words (473,000), while QE2: The World’s Greatest Cruise Ship sank to 224,000.

Ten’s highlights were Australian Survivor (668,000), The Project (509,000), Bull (281,000) and the perennially disappointing Pointless (231,000).

For the ABC, its Tuesday ran this way: 7pm news (752,000), 7.30 (553,000), Catalyst (443,000) and Foreign Correspondent (439,000).

Over at the SBS, its best was again trains, Great Indian Railway Journeys chug-chugging to a decent 341,000.
