Tuesday TV Wrap: Network Repeats Bomb With Viewers

If there’s anything to be had from last night’s telly numbers, it’s viewers don’t care much for a repeat.

Both 10 and Nine offered viewers re-runs last night and the numbers proved abysmal.

Nine’s repeat of True Story with Hamish & Andy attracted a meagre 242,000 according to last night’s OzTAM five city metro numbers.

While an “encore” of Show Me the Movie on 10 fared even worse, mustering a mere 147,000.

Nine won Tuesday with 32.1 per cent audience share thanks to MAFS (1.18 million), 6pm news (840,000), ACA (755,000) and Travel Guides (653,000).

Seven had 29.9 per cent with its 6pm news (956,000), MKR (855,000) and The Good Doctor (579,000) its best.

10 stole third spot with 16.6 per cent share. Its standouts were I’m A Celeb… (536,000), 10 News First (382,000), The Project (378,000) and Hughesy We Have A Problem (369,000).

The ABC pulled 15.1 per cent with its 7pm news (664,000), Foreign Correspondent (355,000) and Catalyst (349,000) its doers.

Over at the SBS, it had 6.3 per cent with Michael Portillo’s Abandoned Britain (220,000) its standout.
