Thursday TV Wrap: Seven’s Front Bar Marks A New Record

Seven’s AFL chat show, The Front Bar, continues to prove a winner for the network, boasting an impressive 512,000 viewers last night according to OzTAM metro numbers.

The Mick Molloy hosted show helped Seven to an easy Thursday night win with 32.6 per cent of last night’s eyeballs. Nine had to settle for a neat 26 per cent, 10 snared third with 19.9 per cent, the ABC had 15.4 per cent and SBS did six per cent.

Seven’s 6pm news was the most watched show of the night with 995,000. Other highlights for the network were Home And Away (611,000), The Chase (589,000) and Britain’s Got Talent (451,000).

10 did well with MasterChef (680,000), The Project (488,000), Ambulance Australia (400,000) and 10 News First (389,000).

Nine’s best was its 6pm news (928,000), ACA (697,000), Hot Seat (550,000) and its NRL coverage of the Panthers-Eels game (360,000).

The ABC’s night ran thus: 7pm news (653,000), 7.30 (502,000) and Escape From The City (411,000).
