Thursday TV Wrap: Seven Comes Out On Top, As Bachelor Recovers On Quiet Night

TV viewers appeared to have had a choice of the lovelorn, the footy or a laugh last night; however, it was the lovelorn taking the honours with The Bachelor the top entertainment show of the evening.

The Bachelor recovered some of its lost ground since debut snaring 726,000 according to overnight OzTam figures.

In a quiet night of telly, Seven’s news was the most watched show of the night with one million viewers. Nine’s NRL clash between arch rivals Parramatta and Canterbury pulled 382,000 and Seven’s Make You Laugh Out Loud had 538,000.

Seven had bragging rights for the night with 28.9 per cent of the audience share, followed by Nine with 27.7 per cent, Ten managed 19.3 per cent, ABC had 15.3 per cent and the SBS had 8.7 per cent.

Interestingly, SBS’s Great British Railway Journeys proved a winner pulling 400,000 viewers.
