Sure, we’re only two episodes in, but there’s already worrying signs for The Bachelorette after it managed just 539,000 viewers last night, a drop of 92,000 from Wednesday’s debut.

It wasn’t even Ten’s best performer last night, easily beaten by Gogglebox that pulled in 677,000.

In a tight tussle, Nine won last night with 27.2 per cent of the audience eyeballs. Seven was an unlucky second with 26.9 per cent, Ten took third with 21.4 per cent, the ABC had 15.8 per cent and SBS had 8.7 per cent.

Seven had the most watched show of the evening, its 6pm news bulletin pulling 850,000. The network’s other highlights included Home And Away (567,000) and The Chase (526,000).

For Nine, its evening ran thus: 6pm news (832,000), ACA (680,000), Paramedics (612,000), RBT (496,000), Driving Test (480,000) and Hot Seat (435,000).

Ten’s only other show of note was The Project that had a bit of an off night, managing just 443,000.

For the ABC, its 7pm news was its best with 692,000. 7.30 had 570,000 and Grand Designs Australia pulled 506,000 and Sammy J managed 251,000.

For SBS, its best was Tony Robinson’s Hidden Britain By Drone with 298,000.
