Thursday TV Wrap: 10 Hits It Out Of The Park With Gogglebox And MasterChef

It’s been a ripper of a week for 10 thanks to the enormous success of MasterChef, with a nice kick from Gogglebox to top it off.

Thursday night saw MasterChef hit over one million viewers again (1.06m to be precise), while Gogglebox achieved a significant 874,000 views, according to OzTAM metro numbers.

This saw 10 see off the night in the number one spot in all key demos, also coming in at number one primary channel with 20.5 per cent. Nine did 15.3 per cent, while Seven closely followed on 15.2 per cent. ABC and SBS did 11.3 per cent and 4.4 per cent respectively.

Here’s how the rest of the night ran:

Seven

News did 1.28m, The Chase did 673,000 and Home & Away did 685,000.

Nine

News did 1.09m, ACA did 764,000, Hot Seat did 582,000 and Accidental Heroes did 432,000.

10

The Project did 645,000 and 10 News First did 480,000.

ABC

News did 923,000, 7.30 did 694,000 and Grand Designs did 374,000.

All channel share 

10 pulled a decent 27.3 per cent, Nine earned 24.3 per cent, Seven did 23.4 per cent, while ABC and SBS did 16.3 per cent and 8.7 per cent respectively.
