Brand Agency designer Carly Moone, with her husband Seb, have created a children’s book to raise money for the victims of the country’s continuing bushfire crisis.

As fires still burn across the country, the picture book celebrates and supports Australia’s secret superheroes – our firies.

Illustrated and written by the couple it is centred around a little girl and her dad (a farmer) who’s a volunteer firefighter.

Inspiration for the book came from Carly and Seb’s personal experience of bushfires in their home town of Tambellup in country Western Australia, on their family sheep and crop farm.

After seeing the way their family, neighbours and friends so selflessly reacted to bushfires, Carly and Seb were inspired to find a way to donate their time and skillset to the cause.

The project has received an overwhelming response so far with the target of $10,000 funding being achieved within 24 hours.

However, the more funds pledged, the cheaper the printing costs and the more money to the charities that need it. For more information and to buy the book.
