Ten’s Sales Leadership Team Takes Shape

Network Ten is continuing to build its in-house advertising sales department with the appointment of market Sales directors in Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.

Ten’s Damon Jackson (pictured above, far left) has been promoted to Melbourne sales director, and the network’s general manager of Brisbane and South East Queensland, Angela Neville (pictured above, third from the left), has added Brisbane sales director to her responsibilities.

Cameron Mudge (pictured above, second from the left), who is currently leading sales at MCN in South Australia, will become Ten’s new Adelaide sales director.

Finally, longtime Ten sales leader for both the network and then MCN, Paul Townsend (pictured above, far right), will become Perth sales director. Townsend has also been appointed as Ten’s general manager for Perth.

Jackson and Neville’s roles are effective immediately, while Mudge and Townsend will join Ten in December 2018.

Ten’s chief sales officer, Rod Prosser, said: “We are building something exciting here at Ten. With our brilliant entertainment programming line-up over the coming months, we have a great story to tell and more commercial opportunities than ever.

“Damon, Ange, Cam and Paul are experienced, well-respected leaders in their respective markets. They are also passionate about Ten, our multi-platform offering and what we can achieve by bringing the advertising sales team back in-house.

“Each of them are great ambassadors for Ten, having worked closely with the company for many years. I’m thrilled to have them part of the sales leadership team to take Ten’s commercial strategy into the future.”

These appointments follow Ten’s recent sales leadership announcements of Michael Stanford as national creative director of its commercial production division, Ten Imagine; Tamar Hovagimian as head of its commercial partnership division, Ten Effect; and Gareth Tomlin as GM of data, insights and analytics.

The TV network is set to announce its Sydney sales director, national sales director and digital sales director soon.
