Social media gives brands the opportunity to connect with users all across the world and start a genuine conversation. It also gives users the ability to nitpick even the smallest details and mistakes they pick up on.
And that’s exactly what has happened to Nintendo, which has been taken to task over a relatively innocuous details in an ad for its new Nintendo Switch OLED Model.
The moment in question occurs at the 57 second mark.
The decision of the man to sit and play his device in what looks like a rather uncomfortable position in his hallway has caused quite a stir on Twitter.
Obsessed with this man from the new Switch trailer. He gets home from work, sits down on the weird decorative bench in the front hallway of his Very Nice House, and is immediately on his Pokemon grind.
This whole sequence is so surreal in, like, a cheery uncanny valley way. pic.twitter.com/P9MZI2DKP4

The most absurd scenario in the Nintendo Switch OLED trailer was when a man walks into his home and just decides that the hallway is the best place for him to play Pokemon pic.twitter.com/Wbb8cV20zS

What makes the shot even more perplexing is the fact there appears to be two perfectly operational stools in the background.
