Sky Sport Releases Touching ‘Sport Gets Back Up’ Campaign To Commemorate The Return Of Live Sport

After what is now almost a two-month hiatus, live sport is just around the corner.

The NRL is set to reboot on May 28, while other codes around the world such as the UFC and NASCAR are also set to return in the month of May.

To commemorate the occasion, Sky Sport in New Zealand has released a touching new campaign likening the adversity that is often seen on the field to the tenacity of these sporting leagues that are getting back up.

“Like those injured on the field, pitch or court, our country is getting back up on its feet,” said Sky chief marketing officer Steve Bayliss.

“Kiwis have shown resilience and support for each other over the past few difficult weeks. Aotearoa is a proud and strong sporting nation, so we are really excited to be bringing live sports back into people’s homes and hands very soon.”

The campaign was created by DDB NZ.

It follows Sky’s ‘We Feel the Same’ campaign, also by DDB NZ, which ran earlier this month.
