“Should Have Made A TV Ad”: UK Snack Company’s First Ever Outdoor Campaign Goes Live At The Worst Possible Time

A UK vegan snack company’s first ever outdoor campaign has capitalised on social distancing laws with a rather amusing outdoor campaign that went live across the UK on Wednesday.

In a prime example of making the situation work to your advantage, Emily Snacks has decided to poke fun at itself and the stay at home mandate with clever copy and simple creative.

And it works.

With copy such as: ‘Our first ever poster, seen by a runner and one pigeon. Typical’ and ‘Hmmm… maybe we should have made a TV ad instead’ – the brand has certainly received approval from its customers for its hilarious work.

One fan wrote on Instagram: “I would totally munch on some dry apple or pineapple snacks from you guys, while chuckling at the ad.”

Another wrote: “Brilliant! People who do see it will get a bit of a laugh and remember it better now!”

B&T understands Emily Snacks does its creative in-house, but has reached out to the company for clarification.
