Shopper Media Group has announced the appointment of Guy Taffs (featured image) to the role of NSW sales manager, where he will drive the delivery of audience-led campaign solutions to independent agencies and direct key partners.

Shopper Media Group’s head of revenue, Jamie Hollebone, said Taffs’ appointment is in response to the company’s unrivaled growth in the local shopping centre landscape, and will allow Shopper Media to continue to transform and dominate the market.

Hollebone commented: “With years of experience and industry knowledge to draw from, Guy will play a pivotal role in growing our independent agencies and direct partner business by driving home our competitive advantage: the most advanced integrated Wi-Fi and digital media solutions in retail Out-of-Home advertising.

“With access to Shopper Ai’s unique ability to identify which shopping centres offer the best buy for individual campaigns, Guy and his team will deliver target-specific audiences with unprecedented efficiencies to our independent agencies and direct key partners.”

Taffs joins Shopper Media Group from a similar role at oOh Media.

He also brings more than 20 years’ experience in digital display and Out-of-Home advertising with Executive Channel Network, APN Outdoor and Buspak.

Taffs said: “I’m incredibly excited to be joining a company that has been pioneering technological advancements in retail Out-of-Home, and I’m looking forward to providing effective solutions to clients, whether they are big or small.

“Driving engagement with audiences is something that I’m passionate about.”

Taffs added: “Shopper Media’s research on consumer behaviour and its access to data-first insights that are unique to local centers really excites me because it offers the opportunity to develop targeted strategies that will drive business growth.

“I wanted to be part of that growth and join Shopper Media’s mission to innovate and provide service leadership in the retail Out-of-Home market.”
