“She Sacked Me!”: Roxy Jacenko Reveals SAS Australia Ended Her Relationship With Candice Warner

“She Sacked Me!”: Roxy Jacenko Reveals SAS Australia Ended Her Relationship With Candice Warner

Roxy Jacenko’s six-hour stint on Seven’s new hit SAS Australia has proven costly for the PR maven.

Jacenko departed the show after a boxing match with longtime friend and client Candice Warner.

Speaking to KISS FM, Jacenko revealed the fight had ended both the friendship and the professional relationship.

“Is she really my friend anymore? No,” she told Kyle and Jackie-O.

“You know why I never hit back? Because it’d be like being in a ring with Jackie.

“You’re my mate, and I’m not going to smack you in the face for other people’s entertainment.”

When asked if the pair had mended the relationship, Jacenko responded: “No, she sacked me instead.”

It was Warner punching Jacenko after she had turned her back which particularly upset the PR queen.

“You wouldn’t continue punching when the person turns their back and continue punching them in the back of the head. In boxing, that’s totally not allowed,” Jacenko continued.

The relationship between Jacenko and Warner was first highlighted in 2018, when the pair sat side-by-side during David Warner’s emotional press conference after the Australian cricket team’s sandpaper scandal.

At the time, Jacenko claimed she was simply supporting a friend – not a client.

“Candice is a dear friend, thus my support, but I am not their PR,” Jacenko told The Australian following the press conference.

Warner was however being represented by Jacenko’s social media agency Ministry Of Talent at the time.

Warner’s profile has been removed from the Ministry Of Talent website.
