“Send Noods Not Nudes” Urges Deliveroo In Witty Mardi Gras Campaign

To celebrate Mardi Gras, Taiwanese restaurant  chain Din Tai Fung Australia and Deliveroo have launched Pride Noods, a blend of different coloured noodles inspired by the pride flag.

The dish is available for delivery exclusively on Deliveroo and for the week of Mardi Gras every order of the colourful Pride Noods will earn a $5 donation to The Pinnacle Foundation from today until March 12th.

The rainbow noodles are available from all ten Din Tai Fung restaurants across NSW and Victoria and the charitable donation is 100 per cent funded by Deliveroo.

The Pinnacle Foundation provides scholarships to LGBTIQ+ youth who are marginalised or disadvantaged. It relies solely on donations combined with the passionate contributions of over 115 volunteers and three staff to deliver its program across the country.

Andrew Staite, CEO & managing director at The Pinnacle Foundation said, “Deliveroo’s support will help us transform the lives of young LGBTIQ+ scholars across Australia. The gift of education is one that impacts every aspect of a young person’s life and can sustainably enhance their future, and the contribution they make to our community.”

Joe Satari at Deliveroo said, “The theme for Mardi Gras 2020 is WHAT MATTERS! Celebrating love in all its forms is at the core of the Deliveroo brand and we believe equal opportunities is what really matters. In that spirit we couldn’t be happier to support the incredible work that The Pinnacle Foundation undertakes. This Mardi Gras Deliveroo is firmly recommending Aussies send (or at least receive) noods.”
