Sarah Trombetta, CEO of Red Havas, has left the business. Steve Fontanot has been elevated to the newly-created role of Managing Director.

Trombetta joined Red Havas as CEO in 2019. In a statement, she said, “I would like to thank all the incredible people and partners who made it possible to achieve so much together in my years at Red Havas. The future is bright for this talented team and I wish them all continued success.

Steve Fontanot, incoming Managing Director, will be working with Chairman Anthony Freedman, who is taking on CEO duties temporarily.

According to the press statement, Red Havas will be considering its leadership structure moving forward.

Freedman said, “I want to thank Sarah for her contribution to Red Havas and the Havas Village more widely.

Red Havas is in a very strong position as a business with an exceptional leadership team and amazing client partners. I am confident that this momentum will continue as the agency’s next chapter begins.”
