ROKT, a transaction marketing company, today announced the appointment of Elliott Knight as its sales director, Asia-Pacific Region, a newly created position and a reflection of the company’s revenue ramp-up in the area.

Knight was promoted to his new post from national sales director, Australia.

Knight’s new responsibilities will include driving revenue in Australia and Singapore as well as overseeing ROKT’s sales initiatives in New Zealand. He will report to Neil Robinson, ROKT’s chief revenue officer, and be based on the company’s Sydney office.

“Elliott has played a significant role in advancing ROKT’s place in the Australian digital marketing industry since he joined our team in 2012 as a sales manager,” Robinson said. “His ability to work with marketers and agencies to apply the ROKT transaction marketing platform to build brands and acquire customers is outstanding; so too is his ability to develop the effectiveness of ROKT sales team members. In his new role, Elliott will focus on accelerating the revenue growth ROKT has been experiencing across the APAC region. I look forward to working with him to achieve that goal.”

Prior to ROKT, Knight held a series of sales posts of increasing responsibility with digital marketing consultancy Hibu, formerly Yell, in the United Kingdom.

“I am excited to take on a new, broader role that will call on me to expand ROKT’s business relationships with advertisers and agencies in the APAC region,” Knight said. “I am pleased and proud to have been appointed to lead our efforts in this sector of the company’s global sales organisation.”
