More than 1,000 companies have blocked US right-wing news website Breitbart from their media buying plan, according to a campaign group.
Sleeping Giants aims to “stop racist websites by stopping their ad dollars”, and recently released a list claiming that 1,132 companies so far have pledged to stop spending with Breitbart.
Kellogg’s, T-Mobile, Audi, Hewlett Packard, Nestlé, Mercedes-Benz, Nautica, Nespresso, Lenovo, BMW and Vodafone are among the companies that have blocked Breitbart from their media plan, according to the list.
Sleeping Giants celebrated the achievement on Tuesday with a post on its Twitter page.

The campaign group isn’t the only one going after Breitbart, with SumOfUs having almost registered 500,000 signatures as part of a petition calling for Amazon to stop advertising with the right-wing news site.
US president Donald Trump’s chief strategist, Stephen Bannon, used to be the executive chairman of Breitbart.
