Fast-growing telecommunications technology firm Render has appointed former head of LinkedIn APAC Customer Marketing Alicia Kearns as Chief Marketing Officer.

Kearns brings nearly two decades worth of experience to the role, previously working with several major business and technology brands including SAP, IBM and Macquarie.

She joins Render after consulting to the company in a CMO capacity over the last year, alongside strategic engagements with a number of tech enterprise and high-growth firms.

Render CEO Sam Pratt said: “Alicia has partnered with Render for almost two years and has been instrumental in building our brand and embedding Render in the multi-billion dollar investment of fibre and other telecommunications services in the US.

“Alicia has a track record of building digital strategies and is a passionate advocate for technology’s role in transforming our industry. Her leadership, customer-centricity, and strategic delivery will be an asset as we undertake the next phase of growth.”

Commenting on the appointment, Kearns said: “I’m passionate about brand building and am pleased to say that Render’s brand story is starting to write itself. The technology delivers significant value to our customers with continuous innovation set to reshape an industry ripe for disruption. My goal is to successfully scale the story of how Render’s technology intrinsically solves the challenges facing our 5G and broadband customers with audience-driven, digital and media experiences.

Preparing Render for continued global expansion is an incredible opportunity and I am thrilled to partner with Sam and the entire team to support our best-of-breed technology with a best-in-class brand and customer experience. Our platform is improving the delivery of telecommunication networks and the quality of life of thousands of communities – that’s incredibly rewarding and I am excited to take on this next chapter with such an innovative company.’

Render’s digital construction management solution transforms the way telecommunications networks are deployed. Real-time, geospatial data flows from the field to the office streamline the end-to-end construction process and deliver project time and cost efficiencies of more than 50 per cent.

Render works with a number of key global engineering businesses including Decon Corporation, CenturyLink, The Broadband Group and City Utilities. The company has experienced significant growth in the United States and was recently contracted to assist with the rollout of over $US500 million of telecommunication services in the US over the next three years.
