RateMyAgent has today announced two new senior hires to support plans for international growth in 2020.
Senior marketing executive Emma Nguyen (right in photo) joins as head of marketing and will lead RateMyAgent’s international marketing operations after departing her role as head of marketing at Typsy earlier this year.
The newly-appointed head of marketing will play a central role in ensuring RateMyAgent becomes an Australian household name and expands into new markets.
Also securing a key leadership position is Stephen Watson (left in photo), who joins as head of sales. Watson will drive the set-up and development of the company’s ANZ sales operations.
The new appointments will report directly into RateMyAgent’s C-suite as the company gears up for rapid global expansion, with a key focus on the US, Canada, Asia and New Zealand.
“As we’re in the midst of our US expansion, these roles are fundamental in maximising market opportunities and increasing brand trust and recognition both overseas and in Australia,” said RateMyAgent CEO Mark Armstrong.
“We’ve been on the hunt for a few months for the right people and we couldn’t be more excited to work with Emma and Stephen. We hope to see them become integral parts of the RateMyAgent team and help shape the business well into the future,” continued Armstrong.
Reporting directly to the chief operating officer, Michael Davey, Nguyen will be tasked with building, developing and leading RateMyAgent’s marketing team and operations.
Having headed up marketing operations across Asia-Pacific, European, UAE and North American markets respectively, Nguyen has previously also held roles at Morgan McKinley and Virgin Pulse.
Watson, as head of sales, will work closely with the executive team to accelerate sales performance and maximise market opportunities in a time of rapid expansion.
