Pasta Maker Barilla Announces New Digital Partner

The Italian pasta and sauce maker Barilla has announced Online Circle as its new digital partner.

The agency will be supporting the activation and digital execution of Barilla’s partnership with the Australian Open as its first assignment.

Barilla is the official pasta partner of the Australian Open, with 20-time grand slam champion Roger Federer also returning as Barilla’s official ‘Masters of Pasta’ ambassador.

As an official partner of the tournament, the Barilla brand will feature in signage across all match courts.

Furthermore, Barilla’s Masters of Pasta custom-built restaurant will be situated at a new location this year, within the vineyard precinct of Grand Slam Oval.

“Barilla is a great addition to our already rich portfolio of FMCG and food. Online Circle is no doubt a specialist in the category in Australia. We are expending our service offering into activation and having Barilla it’s perfect,” said Matt Basso, head of strategy at Online Circle.

“We are excited in partnering with Online Circle. They have demonstrated deep knowledge of our brand and the FMCG industry.” said Carly King, Barilla’s marketing manager.
