oOh!Media Group Marketing Director Jodie Koning Departs

oOh!Media group marketing director Jodie Koning has departed the outdoor media company, B&T can reveal.

Koning had been in the role for over a year after being promoted from head of marketing, a position she held for two years.

B&T understands Koning has taken up a marketing role at retail media company Cartology. We reached out for comment.

Prior to her time at oOh!, Koning was head of marketing at Adshel, also previously working at RadiumOne, ARN, Diageo, McDonald’s and Smirnoff.

On her departure, a spokesperson for oOh! said: “Jodie advised she was wanting to seek new opportunities after joining the team more than a year ago following the Adshel aquisition. We wish her well in her new endeavours.”

Koning’s exit from the business follows the recently announced news that long-time CEO Brendon Cook would be stepping down from his role.

Cook founded Outdoor Network Australia in 1989 and has been chief executive and managing director since.

It remains unclear who Cook’s successor will be, however, the board has begun a search for a replacement for Cook, who will stay on as chief executive until a replacement is found.
