oOh! Highlights New Eftpos Campaign To Help Reduce Business Costs

A new campaign highlighting the savings that merchants could realise on debit transactions has been launched today across oOh!media assets by Australian payment network, eftpos Payments Australia.

Running across retail and street furniture assets in targeted Sydney and Melbourne suburbs, the creative points out that retailers and other merchants could potentially cut the cost of debt card payments through Least Cost Routing as the economy begins to recover from COVID-19.

oOh! was the only Out of Home provider chosen for eftpos’ first significant campaign for several years, with its role complementing other executions across radio, digital and print media to showcase the range of benefits Least Cost Routing brings.

The chosen panels were identified using oOh!’s industry-leading data and insights capability, which maximises ROI via accurate audience segmentation and targeting.

oOh!media Chief Sales Officer Tim Murphy said the campaign provides important information that supports Australian businesses and, in turn, the nation’s economy.

“It’s great to see eftpos continue to reach out to the Australian business community, reducing its own wholesale fees and encouraging savings for tens of thousands of retailers and other merchants through Out of Home,” he said.

eftpos CEO Stephen Benton said: “With people increasingly out in public and returning to work, now is the perfect time to raise awareness of how lower debit card fees could potentially help large and small businesses across the country as the economy recovers.”
