The Online Retailer Conference has been postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

The organisers released the following statement:

“The Online Retailer team want to express our concern for everyone impacted by coronavirus. The effects, actual and projected, of COVID-19 are becoming evident across all aspects of our lives here in Australia and around the world. In the context of the current situation, and following the Australian Government directive the Online Retailer Conference & Expo, which was planned to be held at ICC Sydney, Darling Harbour from 22 – 23 July, has been moved to 19 – 20 October.

“The Online Retailer Industry Awards (ORIAs), originally scheduled for 23 July, will in turn move to the new date of 20 October. Reed Exhibitions, organisers of Online Retailer Conference & Expo, will continue to monitor the situation closely and as it evolves we will act on the advice from the Australian Government Department of Health and local health departments.

“Our number one priority is the health and safety of our exhibitors, delegates, industry partners and staff and, as such, we will remain guided by the expert advice of the public health authorities. We fully understand and appreciate the level of planning that is required to participate in an event like ours and we will do our utmost to help all our customers, partners and attendees to prepare for the new dates.

“We would like to thank everyone for the encouragement and support received during this challenging time. If you have any questions regarding the event, please contact your Account Manager, who will be happy to help with your queries.”
