One For The Football Tragics! Ryan Reynolds, Rob McElhenney & Sir Alex Ferguson Team Up For Hilarious Spoof Ad

Mr Midas Touch himself, Ryan Reynolds, is back with a new and very funny advert promoting an upcoming soccer (football) friendly between Reynold’s own Wrexham and arguably the most famous team on the planet, Manchester United, that’s taking place in the US on July 25th.

Reynolds, of course, is boss of the Welsh team Wrexham that he co-owns with fellow actor Rob McElhenney.

Such is the duo’s star power, none other than the legendary ‘Red Devils’ has agreed to play a friendly against them at San Diego’s 35,000-seater Snapdragon Stadium.

To pump up ticket sales, the two actors invited none other than arguably the best football manager in history, the now retired Sir Alex Ferguson, to be part of the ad, too.

The notoriously surly Ferguson, 81, plays himself with aplomb and it’s further proof a couple of Hollywood A-listers and a simple script will kill it every time. Guffaw at the fun below:
