Omnicom Media Group (OMG) announced Schalk van der Sandt will be joining Annalect Australia as the new head of Melbourne operations.
Annalect is Omnicom’s global data and technology business responsible for delivering data-driven marketing strategies through a connected system of data, technology and consultants.
Schalk joins Annalect with over 18 years’ experience in digital marketing.
He will oversee a team of eight and will focus on bringing sophisticated solutions to clients across the PHD, OMD and Hearts & Science agency brands in Melbourne.
Annalect AUNZ CEO, Darren Stein commented: “Schalk is an excellent fit to contribute to Annalect’s continued growth in Victoria.
“It is important to have diversity of both experience and thought in this type of business and Schalk has very strong and impressive agency and client understanding and experience.”

Schalk joins from Omnicom’s PHD in Melbourne where he has served as the digital lead for the last seven years.
