The Monkeys Marketing Boss Tara Jaijee Joins 72andSunny

Creative agency 72andSunny has announced the appointment of Tara Jaijee as its new business director for the Asia-Pacific region.

Jaijee will be based in Australia, and work across 72andSunny’s Sydney and Singapore offices.

Most recently, Jaijee was head of marketing at The Monkeys. Prior to that, she led marketing and new business at M&C Saatchi and DDB in Australia.

Jaijee began her career as an agency consultant before making the move agency-side to Fallon London, where she worked previously with 72andSunny’s APAC chief executive and partner, Chris Kay.

“Finding someone who is a perfect match for your values in this type of role is pretty difficult, so we were beyond happy when Tara said she wanted to come and join the gang,” Kay said.

Commenting on her new role, Jaijee said: “Joining 72andSunny feels like coming home. There’s an awesome ambition to do the best work coupled with a modern outlook on the world and our industry.

“We’ve got some great clients and people on board already, and I’m excited about helping build the next chapter for us in APAC.”

Jaijee’s appointment follows the recent departure of 72andSunny Sydney strategy director Mollie Hill, who also joined the agency from The Monkeys back in March 2017.
