The Monkeys’ Green, Drape & Nowell Elevated To Senior Positions At Accenture

Accenture has announced Mark Green as its new lead for Accenture Interactive Australia and New Zealand (ANZ), effective immediately.

Green is currently group CEO and co-founder of the Accenture-owned creative agency The Monkeys. He will maintain his role as group CEO of The Monkeys.

In his new role, Green will focus on continuing to grow Accenture Interactive’s business in the local marketplace, working with leading brands across Australia and New Zealand to transform their customer experiences as they look to compete in the digital age.

Justin Drape and Scott Nowell, also co-founders of The Monkeys, have both been appointed to the newly created roles of co-chief creative officers for Accenture Interactive, Australia New Zealand. The two will maintain their roles as co-chief creative officers of The Monkeys.

Chairman Accenture ANZ, Bob Easton commented: “Mark takes up the helm at Accenture Interactive at a very exciting time, as demand for services in this part of our business continues to grow at pace and at scale, reflecting the demand by our clients for offerings in brand strategy, design, marketing, content and commerce.”

Green added: “This is a new adventure for me personally and represents the next chapter in expanding a part of the Accenture business which harnesses creativity to help organisations close the gap between brand promise and customer experience. Since the acquisition of The Monkeys by Accenture two years ago, we have demonstrated the power of combining consulting, creativity and technology under one roof; this not only provides unbelievable advantage for clients, but also opens up a world of new career opportunities for employees.”
