Monday TV Wrap: Survivor Soars

10’s Survivor enjoyed its best numbers of the season, posting 926,000 viewers last night according to OzTAM metro numbers.

Admittedly, it wasn’t enough to knock off The Block that enjoyed 940,000; however, combined with Have You Been Paying Attention? it handed 10 some impressive numbers last night.

Nine won Monday in a tight tussle taking 26.7 per cent of the audience share (all channels). Seven wasn’t far behind with 25.8 per cent, 10 did well with 22.4 per cent, the ABC posted 17.9 per cent and SBS did 7.1 per cent.

Seven’s 6pm news (1.023 million) was the most watched show of the night. Other standouts for Seven included Home And Away (692,000), The Chase (572,000), Highway Patrol (536,000) and Motorbike Cops (513,000).

10’s other doers were The Project (529,000) and 10 News First (382,000).

Over at Nine, its 6pm news did 962,000, ACA had 845,000 and Karl’s This Time Next Year did 543,000.

In the battle for breakfast, Sunrise (302,000) flogged Today (199,000).

The ABC’s night ran thus: 7pm news (667,000), 7.30 (618,000), Four Corners (489,000), Media Watch (435,000) and Q&A (333,000).

SBS’ best was 24 Hours In Emergency with 147,000.
