Monday TV Wrap: The Voice Hands It To Nine

Nine’s 6pm news, ACA and The Voice combo got the broadcaster over the line for a Monday night win.

However, if there were any anomalies in yesterday’s numbers it was at breakfast, with Sunrise (255,000) taking a sharp drop while Today (211,000) remained steady.

The Voice was Monday’s top entertainment show of the night with 839,000 viewers according to OzTAM metro numbers.

10’s newly minted Logie award winning Have You Been Paying Attention? did 704,000 and Logie award winning MasterChef had to settle for 655,000. Seven’s House Rules pulled 549,000.

Nine pulled 29.7 per cent of last night’s eyeballs (all channels). Seven wasn’t far off with 27.2 per cent, 10 had 19.3 per cent, the ABC did 16.9 per cent and SBS had a neat seven.

Seven’s 6pm news was the most watched show of the night with 1.177 million. Other standouts for the network were The Chase (696,000), Home And Away (661,000) and S.W.A.T (299,000).

Over at 10, The Project did 563,000 and 10 News First had 412,000.

Nine’s 6pm news did 1.012 million, ACA had 836,000, Hot Seat managed 586,000 and Buble! did 252,000.

The ABC’s 7pm news pulled 725,000, Back Roads did 621,000, 7.30 had 602,000, Four Corners pulled 467,000, Media Watch did 462,000 and Q&A had 329,000.

SBS’ best was Medicine Or Myth with 170,000.
