Mediacom is the top performing media agency and McCann worldwide the top creative agency globally according to new business wins data from tech marketing firm R3.
The WPP-owed Mediacom held on to the number one media position for the month of May with 124 new wins. Mediacom’s brother Mindshare also retained its second position according to latest R3 results.
When it came to creative wins, McCann held onto the top spot with five global wins for May which included Chevron and MGM Resorts And Casinos.

Commenting on the findings, R3’s principal and founder, Greg Paull, said: “These are tough times for creative agencies unless they are digital,” his comments reported on the US media industry site AdWeek.
“The ground is shifting as digital agencies become more competitive,” he said. “We’re big fans of blurring the lines between digital and creative. Marketers are no longer looking for single-source solutions for their creative work.”
