It’s never been been about the ratings for SBS, which could be why few of its programs rarely rate.
However, the multicultural broadcaster could boast a bit of a win last night when its Secrets Of The Chocolate Factory: Inside Cadbury pulled 339,000 last night and was the 18th most watched program according to overnight OzTAM metro numbers.
It was SBS’ most-watched show of 2019.
Still, none of this dented MAFS’ winning ways, it again posted some impressive numbers with 1.329 million viewers tuning in last night.
MAFS’ success continues to weigh on Seven’s MKR, it could only muster 724,000 last night.
Nine won Wednesday with 34.3 per cent. Seven had 28 per cent, the ABC pulled 15.8, 10 had 14.4 per cent per cent, while Cadbury gave SBS a bit of a sugar lift to 7.5 per cent.
Seven won the battle of the 6pm news bulletins, scoring 914,000 viewers to Nine’s 858,000. ACA did 743,000 and New Amsterdam did 493,000 for Nine.
10’s best was The Project (401,000), 10 News First (336,000) and Bondi Rescue (321,000).
The ABC’s night ran thus: 7pm news (671,000), Hard Quiz (610,000), 7.30 (589,000) and Rosehaven (408,000).
