Thursday TV Wrap: Gogglebox Watchers Prove Most Watched Entertainment Show Of The Night

Network 10’s Gogglebox continues to punch above its TV ratings weight, again beating its more highly fancied stablemate, The Bachelorette, in last night’s telly numbers.

Last night’s Gogglebox – the final episode in the series – was the most watched entertainment show of the night, pulling 724,000 to The Bachelorette’s 512,000.

Seven still won the night with 29.3 per cent of the audience’s eyeballs. Nine was second with 26.7 per cent, 10 nabbed third and 20.1 per cent, ABD had 16.2 per cent and SBS managed 7.7 per cent.

Once again, Seven had the most watched show of the night, its 6pm news bulletin pulling 867,000. Today Tonight had 830,000, Home and Away had 523,000, The Chase pulled 485,000, The Front Bar managed 326,000 and the movie Shallow Hal had a rather dismal 118,000.

Nine’s best was its 6pm news with 790,000, ACA had 677,000, Paramedics managed 573,000, RBT pulled 493,000, Driving Test had 461,000 and Chicago Med 260,000.

Ten’s other highlights included The Project with 417,000, 10 News First with 328,000 and Blind Date with just 252,000.

Over at the ABC, its evening ran thus: 7pm news (615,000), 7:30 (519,000), Grand Designs Australia (444,000), Endeavour (270,000) and Sammy J (214,000).

For SBS, its best was again Tony Robinson’s Hidden Britain by Drone with 287,000.
