Seven Puts Faith In Food As Zumbo Resurrected

Despite the fact back in 2016 Zumbo’s Just Desserts failed to rise in the ratings, Seven is putting its faith in food and resurrecting the cooking show.

Starring celebrity chef Adriano Zumbo and British cook Rachel Khoo, Seven is banking on Australian’s appetite for food to help revive this once-deflated show.

The first season of Zumbo’s Just Desserts was developed by the creators of My Kitchen Rules, and hosted by celebrity chefs Adriano Zumbo and Rachel Khoo, with Gigi Falanga playing the role of their handy assistant.

Then in 2018, Seven rolled the dice one more time with  Zumbo’s Just Desserts, enlisting the help of streaming giant Netflix to commission a second season, signing a co-production deal with Netflix for season two.

And now, the show is back on Channel Seven, promising a whole new line-up of dessert makers and “magic”.

When the show will air remains unclear, but according to Seven, it’s coming soon.
