NT News Delivers Cracker Of A Front-Page Headline

News Corp’s NT News has once again produced a front-page headline for the archives as part of its coverage of the Northern Territory’s famous ‘cracker night’.

Sunday saw more than 370 tonnes of fireworks being lit up to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the state’s self-governing status.

However, the celebration aftermath saw 27 injuries and 450 reported fires, with the Joint Emergency Services Communications Centre taking 1792 calls on Territory Day.

And one man’s insane attempt to ignite some fireworks from his anus (you can watch the video here) provided inspiration for the front page of today’s print edition of NT News.

Proving its social media game is also on point, NT News continued to draw attention to its hilarious front-page headline.
